  31th August 2008 3:47PM EST GMT+10 Some Platinum News  Well it seems the videos posted yesterday have revealed some new information, the underground has been confirmed to not be Wi-Fi compatible as some people had hoped, it relies on local wireless connections like Diamond and Pearl. When connected to a two or more friends via local wireless you are also able to do an Egg Jumble, this is where each person gets a Pokemon egg and places it on the wheel, the eggs then get mixed around and each player gets an egg back though you wont know what Pokemon is inside since all the eggs have been swapped around. Finally the video confirms that you are able to buy scratchies from the Battle Frontier using Battle Points where you can win more Battle Points and other prizes if you're lucky. News via Serebii. |

I'm sorry for not updating in over a week but my computer stopped working and in that time was being repaired, anyway it now works and I can start updating again! To start with the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness anime Special is airing on Cartoon Network tonight at 6PM here in Australia, it will then air in America on Monday. The special will air after the original which can be seen before hand so tune in earlier if you haven't seen it yet. 21st August 2008 7:53PM EST GMT+10 Site Updates Well today I've just updated a few things around the site such as our Feature Video and Feature Photo which can be seen on the left. I have also updated our Mystery Dungeon fan-fic by FocusPresenceEndurance with chapters 11 and 12, I know I promised them a while ago but I couldn't access them at the time then it totally slipped my mind, well anyway enjoy! Pokemon Aus24 currently consists of myself running the site and two regular contributors, one being our Fan-Fic writer and the other a YouTube correspondent. 13th August 2008 6:06PM EST GMT+10 New Formes and Platinum It appears that the five new Pokemon are actually alternate formes according to the official site and the items used to obatin these new forms will be handed out in Japan via Wi-Fi and in-store. The official Yahoo Platinum site has added a few new videos to their collection which can be seen here. The US will soon be selling the black D/P DS Lite Japan had two years ago, the DS also comes with a Mystery Dungeon Explorers or Time and Darkness DVD, Dialga/Palkia DS carry case and mini poster. 11th August 2008 10:57PM EST GMT+10 Platinum Scans and Pokemon 151 To start with we have all five Platinum CoroCoro scans available below, new information revealed includes... - Prof. Rowan gives you your starter instead of you taking it, you then battle your Rival before meeting Cyrus from team Galactic at Lake Verity. - You first meet the policeman trying to capture Team Galactic in the Jubilife Pokemon Centre. - You can now register your e-mail so Nintendo will send you notification when your Pokemon is traded with on the GTS. - Recorded battles you place on the GTS can be viewed and rated by others, much like a Pokemon style YouTube. - You can take photos of your Pokemon boxes and send them to friends via Wi-Fi as seen with the Jigglypuff box in the scans. - There are more then five mini-games available to play over Wi-Fi. - The final page is simply about the five new Pokemon, my theory is since Rotom can go inside and possess any inanimate electrical items. I believe in Platinum there are five little robots Rotom can go inside and control, each giving it a new type, attacks and ability, this is only a guess however and is most likely not true.

A new Platinum video was released hours ago at Pokemon Fiesta 2008 in Japan, it shows heaps of new stuff along with confirming the new Pokemon silhouettes previously reported on. You can watch the video below and remember if you want to stay up to date with the latest Pokemon videos then subscribe to our YouTube channel, we have correspondents making sure Pokemon Aus24 uploads the latest videos as soon as they are revealed. New Features revealed in the video... * Team Galactic play a major role in this game with a new mastermind besides Cyrus. * A world-wide Police force are trying to stop Team Galactic's evil plans. * New opening clip as the game starts up. * Battle Frontier has a market area to trade in Battle Points. * One battle area requires you to battle on a stage in front of a crowd, another allows you to pick from three of six rental Pokemon. * The GTS has several floors and contains many new features besides the standard trading, new features include heaps of mini games in little MMO theme park areas and a battle recorder which lets you send recorded battles to others. * Mini games include pumping a ballooon, rolling a ball with Mime Jr. on it and flicking berries into a robot Swalot's mouth. * A part of the game has you riding in a Piplup boat. * Cycling Road has been updated. * Amity Square seems to allow basic form starters to walk around with you. * Gyms all have been remoduled, Gym Leaders has been given animations and each gym battle starts with a little updated intro. * It seems Volkner (Sunnyshore Gym Leader) and Flint from the Elite Four join forces and you team up with your rival to battle them. * The Japanese version of Pokemon Platinum comes with a little newspaper which reveals a few details about the five new Pokemon. * New info about the five new Pokemon will be revealed constantly between September 28th (D/P two year anniversary in Japan) and November 4th. |

7th August 2008 9:31PM EST GMT+10 NOT CONFIRMED: New Pokemon! I got word of this early this morning from our Youtube Correspondent seamonster73 but thought it seemed fake and didn't bother with it, now more news has risen it and I think this is legit. Toys R Us stores in Japan have put up posters with five silhouettes of apparent new Pokemon. The posters say they will be revealed between September 28th (the release date of D/P back in 2006) and November 4th, those who pre-order Platinum will also get a leaflet with clues on it. These new Pokemon will either be alternate forms of older Pokemon in Platinum or new 5th generation Pokemon all together.   We also have an exclusive scan via blue skY which shows new Platinum screens along with what seems to be a giant flower clock on the ground which you can walk on.  Finally don't forget about Club GTS, it has really taken off with Lucario being grabbed within minutes of being depositied on the GTS. |

A new Pokemon episode has been given the English title "Bells Are Singing!" and features a trainer and his Pokemon who perform on stage, three of his Pokemon are Chingling however one of them cannot seem to get it's part of the act right.  |
