YouTube, Brawl and New Poll


Well today I will be uploading a few videos to the Pokemon Aus24 YouTube account, bare in mind each video takes hours to upload since they are all High Definition allowing those with fast internet to get super clear quality if they choose.

I have updated the whole Brawl section of our site so click the link to view it. Pikachu and Pokemon Trainer's pages have been updated, a new page for Pokemon Stadium Melee has been added and the Brawl home page has been redone.

Finally our Feature Poll has been updated so scroll down and you'll find it on the left, make sure to get your vote in.

Pokemon 151, Brawl Release and Anime


To start with Pokemon 151's official site launched today through it only ships to Japan, I guess places like Ebay are the only option for those from other countries.

Next up Brawl is finally available in Australia thanks to the pathetic effort by Nintendo Australia. You can visit our Brawl section here and when I finally get some efficient free time next week I'll begin work on updating the whole section.

The Pokemon anime is back on Toasted TV at 7:30am, the second Diamond and Pearl episode aired today so if you've missed anything make sure to check it out. Hopefully the new Battle Dimentions episodes will air once the series has finished.

Finally for today our Feature Video (which can be viewed toward the bottom of the left menu) has been updated with a funny Pokemon Parody.

Mystery Dungeon, Trading Cards, Event Pokemon and Clothes!

Okay well Nintendo Australia are offering people the chance to win a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon prize pack which includes either a blue/black or red/black DS Lite, a copy of either of Explorers of Time or Darkness, a game guide and a pocket PokeDex book. Gamestop in the US handed out Deoxys over the weekend while Japan was given Level 100 Regigigas, details on both Pokemon can be seen below:

Japan are now getting another chance to grab one of the rarest Pokemon, Jirachi. Jirachi is a Pokemon even us Australians had the chance to grab through Pokemon Channel, however the Pokemon has been kept quite reserved in Japan and is only given out on rare occasions, one of which is happening shortly. 100,000 random members of the Pokemon Daisuki club will be sent a special coupon allowing them to download the Pokemon from Pokemon Center Japan or various Toys R Us stores.


Finally The Pokemon Company Japan are launching a new clothing line which, get this, FOCUSES ON MODERN, STYLISH ADULT CLOTHING! Titled Pokemon 151, this clothing range features many different Pokemon designs that wont make you feel embarrassed in any way if you are over the age of 10. The New Pokemon Aus24!


As I'm sure you've already noticed I have given Pokemon Aus24 a compete makeover moving us away from that bland over used design we originally had to a new original layout. The theme is based on our forum skin (Wii Theme since our site was originally a Wii Mail service) which now connects Pokemon Aus24 to the forum more. Well anyway some of the new features includes our new flash menu to the right, continue to scroll down and you'll find our Calendar, Feature Poll and Video underneath it.

For easy navigation every page of the site has a button which takes you to our home page and also a button which allows you to easily find what you're looking for.

Anime and Platinum News


Okay to start with Pokemon is on at 6am tomorrow morning on Channel 10, apparently The Pokemon Center reported it will feature the new Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimensions series.

A new feature about Platinum has been revealed through the Japanese show "Pokemon Sunday". While talking about a special Regigigas (Level 100, in a Cherrish Ball and has one attack from all three Regis) handed out to those who pre-order the "Giratina and Shaymin, the Bouquet of the Icy Sky" ticket, a clip was shown revealing back sprites of Pokemon now have a very simple animation which you can see with Regigigas below.



Still no "My Pokemon Ranch" for Australia today, looks like Nintendo Australia are taking their time like always. While we still have nothing, the US got an update for their version which most likely fixes a few bugs.

I have updated the poll to the right with a new question regarding the newly released Mystery Dungeon games.

Finally for now I am thinking on giving Pokemon Aus24 a whole new look, removing the current themes and start fresh with a new more professional looking layout, what do you think? feel free to leave a comment below and remember you don't need to join the forum to do so.

YouTube and Mystery Dungeon


Well today I'd like to officially launch Pokemon Aus24's official YouTube channel which can be viewed here, those who have downloaded the Pokemon Aus24 toolbar will find the link under the "Pokemon Sites" button. I hope to have a video up later to night or tomorrow showing our exclusive event Pokemon in action on Pokemon Battle Revolution.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness was released today in Australia so I hope you're all enjoying the game. I ended up with Piplup and chose Turtwig as my partner and our colour is green.

Movie 11 Trailer and MD2 Page


To start with here is a trailer featuring Shaymin's Sky Forme from "Giratina and Shaymin, the Bouquet of the Icy Sky"


And since Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness are both released this Thursday I have also created a page about the eight special Event Dungeons and how to unlock them.

I have also updated our Feature Video with a Time and Darkness Anime Opening to keep with the theme.

Official Platinum Japanese Site


The Japanese Pokemon Platinum website has launched today, click here to visit it. I have also updated our Pokemon Platinum page, keep checking back because I'll soon organise it and add new pictures from the official site.

The site shows off a few new areas of Sinnoh, the protagonist's new clothes and PokeWatches, Regirock, Regice and Registeel in Sinnoh, a high quality image of the Origin Forme Giratina which appears on the cover and a few other minor details.

Official Platinum Cover and Info


Thanks to PokeBeach.com we now have more info and images from the Pokemon Platinum article in Famitsu. Sinnoh is suddenly hit with a cold wave explaining why the protagonists have new winter clothing on as seen below in the scan. The two new characters previously mentioned are in Sinnoh trying to discover the reasoning behind the cold front. The scan also shows two new areas not previously in Diamond and Pearl one being the castle and the other a some type of arcade.


And finally below is the official cover which seems to contain a 3D Origin Forme Giratina, it seems Giratina only appears in it's Origin Forme in Platinum.


Expect all the new info released over the past two days to be added to the Pokemon Platinum page sometime tomorrow. Also don't be surprised in My Pokemon Ranch is released in Australia on WiiWare tomorrow, if so I'll have images and a mini review of the game up as well.

And remember that Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea will air on Cartoon Network in Australia tomorrow at 6PM.

10:45PM Edit: More Platinum Pictures and Info


Via Japanese Image Board new info and scans from the upcoming Famitsu magazine have been revealed concerning Pokemon Platinum. Shaymin automatically turns into it's Sky Forme when in Platinum and stays normal (Land Forme) in Diamond/Pearl, the "Torn World" mentioned earlier is positioned above the Spear Pillar and contains fully utilised 3D graphics, and finally several new areas all over Sinnoh have been added to Platinum not accessible in D/P. Below are the two new scans released along with a clear picture of the official Shaymin Sky Forme Ken Sugimori artwork.

PokemonAus24.com and Platinum Info


To start with I purchased a host for Pokemon Aus24 so now our new address is PokemonAus24.com. I have a lot of faith in this site especially from the rate in continues to grow each day, I'd like to thank everyone who visits because if it wasn't for you we wouldn't be where we are.


Next scans from CoroCoro due out later this week have been leaked, though they are quite small (click the thumbnail above), bigger scans will be released once the magazine is officially on sale so expect more news then. So far all that have been revealed from the small images is that all three Regi's from Hoenn are available by obtaining a special Movie Regigigas handed out in Japan, two new important characters will be included in the game, a new area called the "Torn World" is accessible and Shaymin's new Sky Forme is Grass/Flying type and is 40cm tall and weighs 5.4kg. The Poketch has also been updated with a new look and new applications as seen below.


The Feature Video has been updated with a video going through the Darkrai distribution in the US, click the image on the right menu to view it.

My Pokemon Ranch US/Australian Launch


The US got My Pokemon Ranch today, being rated first in Australia we all expected to get something first for once, anyway Yukari is now known as Hayley in the English version. Australia can expect to get this game on Friday so get your Wii Points ready, I know I will and I'll try to get some footage uploaded though my camera isn't the best.

New Platinum Theme


I have created a new style for the site in honour of Pokemon Platinum, to view the new skin click on the Platinum button found on the right. This is the third style available along with the Classic and Mystery Dungeon themes.

New Shaymin Sky Forme Revealed!



This badge turned up on Yahoo Actions in Japan and is real seeing as a few other images of this apparent Shaymin Sky Forme has appeared on other products including the cup mentioned two days ago.

Well America is once again getting another Pokemon event (what a surprise) and this time Game Stop stores will be handing out Limited Edition Deoxys. This comes only weeks after the US got the chance to grab a Darkrai via Toys R Us and Nintendo World. For all you people out there who never get events, stay tuned to Pokemon Aus24 because I'll soon be handing out some of our exclusive Event Pokemon.

Exciting Anime News!


According to The Pokemon Center Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea will air on Cartoon Network June 13th at 6PM and again the next day at 8PM. This paves the way for more Pokemon movies airing on Cartoon Network as they do in the US. The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon special will also be airing on Cartoon Network at 9am on the 9th of June.

The next series of Pokemon, Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Battle Dimensions will also be airing this month starting Saturday June 21st at 6AM on Channel 10 and continuing weekly. This is exciting news for Australia as new episodes will be sent from the US each week instead of waiting for the whole series to be translated and getting it five times a week at the end.

New Pokemon or Shaymin Sky Forme?


The official Japanese Pokemon site updated with merchandise for Pokemon Fiesta 2008 not realising a new Pokemon appeared on one of the products, it was taken down but to late, it had already started circulating the internet. You can find the image below and decide whether this is Shaymin's Sky Forme or a new 5th generation Pokemon (on the left).

Event Pokemon Give Away!


To start with, due to a huge lack of entries in our Spectrobes give away I've unfortunately had to cancel the competition. However one of the few entries will still be drawn at random and contacted, they will have a choice of receiving anyone of our Pokemon Aus24 Event Pokemon.

New Look and Feature Video


As you may have noticed, I have replaced the heading images for each section in our menu with a new design since the older ones looked less professional. These new images are also more standard and will adapt better to both the Classic and Mystery Dungeon themes.

I have also created a new page titled Feature Video, every week a new Pokemon related video will be featured on the page for you to watch. This week the video shows someone starting up the Japanese version of My Pokemon Ranch on WiiWare and also goes through some of the features available.

Event Pokemon


In Japan, selected Mc Donalds have a "Nintendo Spot" which allows you to download the Mc Donalds Menu onto your DS or try out demos of upcoming games. Until June 14th however People with a copy of Diamond and Pearl will be able to download an exclusive Pikachu in a Cherish Ball with the exclusive attack "Gift" which can either damage or heal the opponent.

As you may know, the US got the chance to grab Darkrai over the weekend to celebrate the release of the Darkrai DVD. Australia will be getting the DVD later this year as was confirmed in a previous news post via EzyDVD so I am sure Nintendo Australia will hand out Darkrai as they did with Manaphy. The Darkrai also came with a password, go to Pokemon.com/drkgift and enter the word "orasion" to get your hands on two exclusive wallpapers.

Pokemon Aus24 has a selection of exclusive Event Pokemon which we will hand out on rare occasions, the first being a Shiny Ralts with all three Elemental Punches as seen in the link. To get your hands on this exclusive Battle Frontier Ralts, simply download our Pokemon Aus24 toolbar (which connects you to everything Pokemon) and watch out for the password sometime later this week, the first to send me the password via e-mail or forum PM will be awarded the Ralts via Wi-Fi trade.
