The next episode heading to Japan will feature the rival from Diamond and Pearl, he's name will be Jun. Now all that's left is for Lucas to make an appearance. In the previous generation obviously May appeared in the series however Brendon only make two quick appearances in two Pokemon shorts before movies 7 and 9, Wally your rival never did though.

New CoroCoro scans are up at Filb.de, none show anything new but the last has a cool Sugimori image of Rotom and the five appliances it can possess.

Nintendo Australia today revealed Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia will be heading to the DS on November 13th only three days after the US and 8 days before Europe. The official boxart was also revealed and can be seen below.

Pokemon Battle Strike Competition

Well once again there is no news at all and since I'm using up my free time to work on the project I can't make any new content for the site. I would like to hold a special competition though, send an e-mail to lucario@pokemonaus24.com telling me what Pokemon you would like to see appear in the project most along with your name/user name. The winner will have their chosen Pokemon appear as a special promo so if there's a certain Pokemon you'd like to see at Pokemon Battle Strike's launch then be sure to e-mail me.

New Project

New Project


Well no news today so I'll let you in on a project I'm working on... Titled Pokemon Battle Strike, this new development will continue to grow over time, and should be set to launch in about a week. The logo can be seen below however I blurred a certain part of it since it would ruin the surprise, stay tuned to Pokemon Aus24 find out the official release date of the project.

12th Pokemon Movie and Event Pokemon

12th Pokemon Movie Site


The website for the 12th Pokemon movie has launched, it shows a small scene which aired on TV in Japan a few weeks ago. The clip is Dialga, Palkia and Giratina all together looking as though they're about to fight each other which would surely cause a gigantic disturbance. The site shows that the developers visit Athens, Greece to get some inspiration for the film, with all those temples and monuments built in honor of Zeus (the greek god) it seems like the perfect place to introduce the Pokemon god Arceus.

Darkrai also at Toys R Us in Australia


It has been revealed via Aussie-Nintendo forum member TryMe that Darkrai will also be handed out in Australia by Toys R Us from the same day as Target. Nintendo Australia held a poll last year after the Manaphy Event and quite a lot of people voted they were unable to get Manaphy due to poor location of JB Hi-Fi stores, it seems by allowing two stores to distribute Manaphy, this shouldn't be an issue this time.

Dragonite at Toys R Us in the US


Pokemon.com have revealed that Toys R Us stores in the US will be handing out Level 50 Dragonite on November 8th and 9th between 12 and 4PM. Dragonair doesn't evolve into Dragonite until Level 55 so this special Dragonite will be allowed into Level 50 Pokemon tournaments, it also knows certain moves it doesn't learn until after Level 50, the moves were not specified however.

The official Pokemon GTS site has been updated with a new feature called the GTS Journal, basically facts and statistics are recorded in a "newspaper" for site viewers to read. To view the new GTS site click here.

- Australia is not one of the 10 biggest country to trade over the GTS.

- 107691 Pokemon are currently on the GTS.

The official site has launched for Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia on the Nintendo DS and the English name for the evil organization has been revealed. The team call themselves Team Dim Sun and plan to awaken Darkrai and cover the world in nightmarish darkness... evil aren't they?

Cheap Pokemon Movies


During Target's Toy Sale which started today in Australia, Pokemon movies 4 (Celebi: Voice of the Forest) and 5 (Pokemon Heroes) are only $8.99 on DVD so if you're after these movies now's the best time to grab them.

Seven Days of Updates


I've been less focused on Pokemon Aus24 then normal these last few weeks so to make up for it I'm going to update the site everyday for a whole week, each day you come by you'll have something new to view so make sure to stop by each day.

Site Updates


With Halloween and the Darkrai distribution in Australia at the end of the month I've created a new banner highlighting both events. The calendar, Feature Video and Feature Poll have also been updated and can be found on the left under the main menu. Club GTS and Animal Crossing24 have been scrapped giving me more time to focus on more important parts of the site. Finally at the bottom of all our article on this page I've added a new comment box feature where you can discuss our news stories, any profane, mean or rude posts will deleted and IP addresses will be viewed.

Pokemon Aus24 Changeables


Our Changeables have made a comeback with new Pokemon Eggs waiting to hatch and PokeBalls waiting to be opened. Eggs hatch into a random baby Pokemon while the PokeBalls release an animated Pokemon, so visit the page, adopt a changeable and experience the transformation!

From October 30th to November 9th, Target stores across Australia will be handing out Darkrai just in time for Halloween. By taking your Nintendo DS and a copy of Pokemon Diamond or Pearl to Target, you'll be able to download your very own Darkrai via the Mystery Gift function, Darkrai's details can be found below...

PokéBall: Cherish Ball
Item: Enigma Berry
Ribbon: Classic
Attacks: Roar of Time, Spacial Rend, Nightmare and Hypnosis

The Rise of Darkrai will be available on DVD in Australia from December 3rd.

Nintendo Tokyo Conference Coverage


At the Nintendo Press Conference today Nintendo have revealed the new Nintendo DSi, features include...

- 2.6 millimeters thinner and 12% smaller.
- Features two screens (the bottom being a touch screen) now 0.25mm bigger then the old DS Lite.
- Two cameras, one on the outside of the DS when it is closed (3MP) and one inside for when it is open.
- Photos can be modified using a DSi version of the Photo Channel.
- The GBA Slot has been removed.
- ACC music files can be stored on the DSi and can be modified and played with.
- Higher quality speakers.
- SD card slot so photos can be transferred between the DSi and Wii.
- You can download a free Opera Browser Program from the new DSi Wi-Fi Store.
- DSiWare games/applications range in price from being free to either 200 points, 500 points or 800 points. Wii Points will be receiving a name change to Nintendo Points as they'll be used for the DSi also.
- Until March 2010, all DSi units come with 1000 free Nintendo Points.
- Out in Japan November 1st 2008 for $225 Australian dollars or $180 US dollars.
- Released in both white and black.
- Mii's will feature on the DSi.
- Other Nintendo related revelations include Gamecube games being re-released for the Wii at a cheaper price, from early 2009 Wii owners will be able to store WiiWare and saved data onto an SD card as a storage solution and new Wii consoles will be pre-loaded with a video on the Wii's many features including Wi-Fi.
