27th September 2008 11:32AM EST GMT+10 Pokemon Ranger 2 European Release Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia will be heading to Europe on November 21st, only 11 days after the US. Australia can be expected to receive this game around the same time, most likely in between the US and European release dates. Movie 11 Japanese DVD Release Giratina and Shaymin, the Bouquet of the Icy Sky will be released in Japan on DVD December 19th. The DVD comes with a Shaymin keyring and a coupon for 20% Dominos Pizza, Dominos in Japan are currently giving away a Munchlax, Snorlax and Snorlax Lv.X trading card with pizza purchases which explains why you get a coupon for pizza with a Pokemon DVD. News via PokeBeach.com New Japanese Trading Card Series From October 11th in Japan the next series of Pokemon cards will be available and this series revolves around Team Galactic's Pokemon and the 11th Pokemon movie, a few cards from the series can be seen below.        Captain Pikachu in Japan The Pokemon Center in Yokohama Japan recently moved into an even bigger store and to celebrate, they have a new promotion revolving around "Captain Pikachu". Firstly customers are able to obtain a giant Pokemon card featuring Captain Pikachu who is on a ship full of Pokemon. A Captain Pikachu is also available for download to Diamond, Pearl or Platinum and is at Level 40, in a Cherish Ball and knows Surf. 24th September 2008 5:05PM EST GMT+10 Storm Front Cards Revealed The first two cards from the upcoming Storm Front TCG expansion have been revealed via Pokemon USA's website, the two cards are Dusknoir (series mascot) and Piloswine.   News via PokeBeach.com My Platinum Opinion While playing through the Torn World yesterday it definitely wasn't as exciting as I'd expected but it was still quite interesting, it is basically a giant maze/puzzle much like you'd find in a gym or cave since all you do is find your way around and move rocks via strength. Once you finally make your way to the end (which can take some time) you fight Cyrus then battle Origin Forme Giratina and Level:47. So far Platinum has been quite fun, Pokemon fans will love noticing the little differences while others will just see it as what should have been the full version of Diamond and Pearl. Overall not a lot has changed but enough to make it worth purchasing, there are much bigger changes compared to Emerald anyway. |

22nd September 2008 5:06PM EST GMT+10 Pokemon Ranger 2 heads to Europe Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia is heading to Europe with the slight name change "Pokemon Ranger: Eclipse over Almia". The game was given a General rating back in August for Australia and will arrive in the US this November.  New Feature Video As you can see towards the bottom of the left menu we've updated our Feature Video with a new Platinum preview video. News has now come to a halt with Platinum's release out of the way, once I've completed Platinum I promise to update the site as often as I used to. I'm currently about to hunt down Cyrus in Mt. Coronet, I know I'm slow but with full-time work I don't have a lot of time to play each day. |

18th September 2008 5:27PM EST GMT+10 US Pokemon DS Bundle Well on Tuesday my new Pokemon DS Lite bundle arrived from the US which included a Palkia/Dialga DS Lite, Carry Case, Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness anime DVD and Mystery Dungeon poster. Platinum, fastest selling DS game The newest Pokémon title for the Nintendo DS, Pokémon Platinum was released in Japan last Saturday and had sold 967,675 copies in it's first two days on sale. By Monday it had well passed the million sale mark and that figure continues to rise with each passing day. Pokémon Diamond and Pearl together sold 1.58 in their first week in japan with 5,571,456 copies currently sold, analysts predict Platinum will shatter these records. The previous fastest selling DS game was Pokémon Diamond and Pearl which stole the title from New Super Mario Bros. - Quoted from my article on Aussie-Nintendo.com. |

16th September 2008 5:19PM EST GMT+10 Pokemon Platinum Coverage: Swarms Today I've compiled a guide detailing Swarming Pokemon in Platinum, the available Pokemon have changed slightly so the list might come in handy. The guide shows all available swarming Pokemon, their types and where you find them when they appear. I have also updated the Rotom Forme page with some new information which was discovered. Pokemon DS Lite Bundle Well today my US Pokemon onyx DS Lite with Dialga and Palkia on the cover arrived from the US, it was bundled with a Pokemon DS Lite case, poster and a Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time and Darkness anime special DVD. I'll have pictures up later today or tomorrow so stay tuned. |

It is in a Cherish Ball at Level 50 and knows Rain Dance, Recovery, Hydro Pump and what seems to be Icy Wind. 4:54PM Edit: Pokemon Ranch Update My Pokemon Ranch now has an update available in Japan which allows Platinum exclusive Pokemon such as Origin Forme Giratina and the Rotom Formes to be stored on the WiiWare game. 3 days till Platinum's Japanese release! 10th September 2008 3:52PM EST GMT+10 Darkrai News Thanks to our loyal viewer Sam, we have an official Australian release date for The Rise of Darkrai on DVD which is Wednesday December 3rd. The DVD will cost $19.83 at Ezydvd.com.au and if you pre-order on their site they'll even send it to you for free within Australia. Just like with Manaphy and Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea I am 99% sure Nintendo Australia will hand out Darkrai coinciding with the DVD's release, stay tuned to Pokemon Aus24 for more updates as they arise.  |

4 days till Platinum's Japanese release! 9th September 2008 8:03PM EST GMT+10 Pokemon Day 2008 News Pokemon Day 2008 recently took place in Berlin with a big crowd of over 6000 fans, Darkrai was handed out and heaps of activities took place. More info and pictures of the event can be seen at Nintendo Germany's official site.  Trading Card News Next up we have pictures of the booster packs and theme decks from the new Stormfront trading card series revealed yesterday via PokeBeach. More information about the series can be found in our previous news post from yesterday, the series will be arriving in the US around Halloween and soon after in Australia.

5 days till Platinum's Japanese release! 8th September 2008 3:30PM EST GMT+10 Platinum News Well Pokemon Sunday (a Japanese live Pokemon series) yesterday showed even more footage of Platinum as they have done for the past few weeks now, anyway while going through the PokeDex they confirmed there will be 210 Pokemon in the Sinnoh Dex. These 210 Pokemon will all be available before you challenge the Elite Four and get the National Dex, it is still unknown whether you'll need to see every Sinnoh Dex Pokemon like in Diamond and Pearl. Both Froslass and Giratina where shown along with their new Sinnoh Dex numbers at #208 and #210 respectively. News via Serebii. Trading Card News Next up we have info about the next series of trading cards titled Stormfront! Cards so far known to be included are Regigigas LV.X, Heatran LV.X, Dusknoir LV.X, Machamp LV.X, Combee, Vespiquen, Drifloon, Drifblim, Magnemite, Magneton, Magnezone, PokeDrawer+, PokeHealer+, and PokeBlower+. The theme decks will feature Gyarados with"Raging Sea" and Tyranitar with "Dark Rampage", the series will be released around Halloween in the US to take advantage of this spooky series which stars Dusknoir as the mascot. 6th September 2008 6:15PM EST GMT+10 Platinum Coverage  Well as you can see I've changed the banner to prepare us for the release of Platinum next week, I'll be spending the whole day posting every bit of information revealed. 3rd September 2008 11:13AM EST GMT+10 Platinum and Fan Art Okay to start with we've got some new Platinum info from Filb.de, it seems up to four players can simultaneously use the Voice Chat function over Wi-Fi now. You may remember the Egg Jumble mode mentioned a few posts ago, well it seems this is done in the underground, finally as we already posted weeks ago you can now get e-mail notifications sent to you to inform you when things such as your GTS Pokemon has been traded. The Pokemon Center Japan have released a new Rotom plush toy for Halloween but why Rotom when a Pokemon such as Dusknoir would has suited the holiday better, could this have something to do with those five Pokemon silhouettes?  Next up in the Fan-Art Section, we have a new Wallpaper available which you might like to check out along with series three of our Wii Photo Channel Displays. |

2nd September 2008 3:36PM EST GMT+10 New Left Menu After the results of a poll said viewers prefer a normal menu I have decided to create one, there are still a few things that need to be fixed but this is overall the final product.
