Yesterday I wrote up the guide for The Orange Islands series of the Pokemon anime but FreeWebs would not let me upload it till now, the bugs have been fixed now though.

Happy Pokemon Day everyone! Remember to place a Pikachu up on the GTS named PokemonDay and ask for a Spiritomb and you may get one of my Spiritomb with rare items attached.

Lets take a look at how Pokemon Day has grown from a single idea into a huge event. The thread on PE2K Forums for Pokemon Day has been very active and was even stickied by a Mod.

The Pokemon Day Thread on Serebii Forums has been very active and is now many pages long.

PokeJungle has posted a news article for Pokemon Day on their site.

FreeWebs has been under maintenace stopping me from updating so this update was for yesterday...

Todays Brawl update revealed that Pokemon Trainer's Final Smash sends Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard all out at once to use Hydro Pump, Solar Beam and Fire Blast. You will also notice the text box that appears at the bottom of the screen which is from Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on the DS.



Well tomorrow is Pokemon Day so remember to place a Pikachu called "PokemonDay" in the GTS and ask for a Spiritomb. You may get a Pokemon Day Spiritomb holding rare items.

I know I promised better updates during the holidays but I have become unexpectedly buzy so I am sorry. Tomorrow hopefully may involve a new Ranger or Orange Island page. Remember if you have something Pokemon related you want viewed by the public then e-mail it to me and it may be placed on the site with credit given to you. It might be a Pokemon game review, a fan fic or even a flash animation.

Finally how do people feel about Pokemon Aus24 having an Elite Four which will contain four Diamond/Pearl players from Australia that people cane battle over Wi-Fi. Your details will be placed on the site so people can add your friend code then e-mail you for a battle. If you are interested and you think you are good enough then leave a comment below.

Well Lv.50 Manaphy are being given out an Toys R Us in the US which will never happen here, we are just lucky we could get it in Ranger. The Code for Electivire in Pokemon Battle Revolution was also released (For all you importers etc it's BA16-X4SH-E2AT) with Magmortar's code being released in October. I will create a page on how to enter the code as the release date comes closer.

Electivire contains the following stats:
Level: 50

Well it is school holidays for Victorians and though I have Exams to study for I will have alot more free time which means more updates. Today I fixed up little things like creating a Trading Card section on the left, added Piplup to the Brawl PokeBall page and afew other minor things.
Next sections I plan to start are the Pokemon Ranger and Anime sections but I will start with Pokemon Ranger today.

On a totally seperate, unrealated, non-Pokemon note, High School Musical 2 is on today.

Todays Brawl update revealed that the Diamond and Pearl starter Piplup will be a PokeBall Pokemon. Once released from it's PokeBall, Piplup slides along the stage using Surf, it pushes players along till it falls off the cliff, will you be able to get back up?.

Pokemon Battle Revolution was today given the lazy release date of November 22nd by Nintendo Australia, a whole five months after the US when only small changes need to be made to the game. On a related note Mario Galaxy was also given a date of November 29th making Australia the last country to get the game.

Below is the TV ad for PokeMania 4 which will run during the school holidays on Cartoon Network. Sorry for the bad quality but it was the best I could do so I hope you enjoy it even though it is just a comercial.

Pokemon Battle Revolution was rated G afew weeks ago by the OFLC. Retailers have stated that the release date for the game is November 15th so though it is not officially from Nintendo and is subject to change, November 15th is a pretty solid date.

My "Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea" DVD arrived today so I will update the movie page. Another new feature I will start using with every major update is adding a comment section. People will be free to comment on news updates by clicking on the link and being redirected to our forums, you do not need to join up to leave a comment since guests are able to leave comments too. Spam or profanity will result in your IP address being banned from leaving future comments. The past few news stories have comment sections added.

A new thing I will do every so often is a brief update to do with Australia's status on the Global Trading Station.

- 9057 people in Australia have used the GTS so far with less then a quarter being female.
- Australia is the 10th biggest country to trade over the GTS.
- The top 5 traded Pokemon in Australia are Palkia, Dialga, Mewtwo, Milotic and Latios.

Though you may not have noticed, the Pokemon Diamond and Pearl series of trading cards have been out for some time now. Coming to Australia soon is the next expansion, Diamond and Pearl Secret Wonders. Below are the Theme Decks which include 60 cards, a respective coin, a rulebook, card list, a one-player playmat and damage counters.



These are the booster packs which contain 10 random cards in each.



Here are four cards from the series.

TV Tokyo have the Japanese version of the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 anime up on their site for people to watch. The episode is in Japanese and is based on the games released in Japan only three days ago. No word has been said of a western release though expect a 2008 release for Australia and the US.

Lots of news today...

First the Pokemon-GTS.net is now up and running though it is not fully complete. You can view info about countries, trades and Pokemon stats easily then go on the GTS on Diamond and Pearl and make your planned trades happen.

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 Time and Darkness Expedition is now out in Japan. You can find more information about these games for the Nintendo DS here.

On September 28th I will be handing out rare items over the GTS in honour of Pokemon Day, Items will include:

Master Balls, Lucky Eggs, Magmarizer, Electirizer, etc…

All you need to do is catch a Pikachu and name it “PokemonDay”. Place it on the GTS at any time of September 28th and ask for a Spiritomb. I will then trade a Spiritomb holding random items with Pikachu but they must be named Pokemon Day.

Patients really is a virtue, a virtue I don't possess. The OFLC have given the nineth Pokemon movie "Pokemon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea" a rating of G. The movie unlike the 6th and 7th is on it's way to Australia after all, this news comes two weeks after I imported my copy from the US which I am currently waiting for. It was a suprise for Australia to get "Lucario and the Mystery of Mew" last year three weeks before the US and another to be getting this movie. No release date is set so stay tuned to Pokemon Aus24.

The official Ken Sugimori art for the Cherish Ball was recently released. For those who don't know this is a special PokeBall that Event Pokemon are held in, you cannot get this ball in the game through legal means. Manaphy will be given out at Toys "R" Us in the US inside a Cherish Ball.

I am so sorry for the lack of updates but homework has been piled on these past few days and I have no time for anything. I have updated the Pokemon of the Week (which should of happened yesterday) and it is Drifloon, read it's PokeDex, who would have thought Drifloon tries to steal children.

Today's Brawl update has revealed that Munchlax is a PokeBall character that may appear. Once released, Munchlax will walk around slowly until an item appears in which case he will run up to it and eat it no matter what it is. I will add a page soon for Munchlax and will edit this post once complete.

4th Generation Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl have now been confirmed in Super Smash Bros Brawl, just look at this picture below which contains Drifloon flying on the Pokemon Stadium 2 arena.


Many people think Lucario will be a playable character well now it is a possibility.

More news from Pokemon-Games.com today which shows they are working on a real time GTS website which has information about current trades from anywhere in the world!

All the movie pages are finally up with the blurbs taken straight from the DVD cases themselves, Movie 9 and 10 are quite empty as I am yet to obtain these movies though movie 9 should arrive anyday now from the US.

I fixed up two things I forgot to do earlier, one was update the Poll on the Trainer Colosseum page which I fixed. The other thing is being Tuesday, a new Pokemon of the Week had to be selected so this weeks Pokemon is Uxie. Well today my Darkrai arrived from Play Asia, below is a photo of it. Play Asia are currently selling many different Pokemon plush toys for the 10th Pokemon movie like Dialga and Palkia and all for under $20 including delivery. My Darkrai only took four days to arrive on the cheapest shipping option while my Pokemon Pearl took me seventeen days.




I have also updated the Trainer Colosseum page, the previous winner was Amanda with all but one of the votes. Visit the page to vote for who you think will be the new winner.

Finally Pokemon Aus24 is soon going to have a Pokemon Wii Game for you to play obviously on your Wii internet channel like Nintendo's Chick Chick Boom, it is still being worked on so stay tuned.

Didn't win? Well due to the overwhelming response we received from our competition, Pokemon Aus24 is running another.
